Advisory: We have signed up to bring desserts for the Thanksgiving Feast, so don't forget to bring those for Tuesday!
Advanced Composition: the Definition paper is due Monday, November 21st, so please make sure that you bring your rough draft to class! We will begin Chapter 13: "Argument," so please bring your textbook to class as well.
American Short Story: We continue with the third unit, Literature from the 1970s and 1980s with Tim O'Brien's "Where Have You Gone, Charming Billy." As a reminder, your response paper for Unit Two is due on Wednesday, November 30th!
Fundamentals of Composition: Your Illustration essays are due on Thursday, December 1st, so please bring your rough draft to class this week so that we can work on these.
Publications and Media: We need to get the flyers and posters finished for the USAC sale of the Norfolk Botanical Gardens Garden of Lights tickets!
Public Speaking: We will continue with Kevin presenting Chapter 11: "Presenting Your Speech." Next week we will be covering Chapter 12: "Informative Speaking" with Josh presenting.
The Word: Please bring your textbooks to class! Once we finish watching David, we will read Chapter 11: "The Kingdom Falls" as well as the Unit Feature, "Exile and Return."
