Menus for the lunch offerings can be downloaded at the right. The Class of 2018 will have lunch available from Taste Unlimited on Mondays; The Class of 2020 offers lunch from SaladWorks on Tuesdays; the Class of 2019 offers lunch from Tropical Smoothie on Wednesdays; and the Class of 2018 offers lunch from Firehouse Subs on Thursdays. Students may order pizza through the main office for lunch on Fridays.

Advanced Composition: REMINDER: your critique of When the Emperor was Divine is due on Thursday, September 28th! Please remember to bring a book to read for SSR, your textbook, and your CHARGED ChromeBook to class each day! We will begin Chapter 11: “Cause and Effect—Explaining Why” in the Strategies book. You will have time in Writing Workshop to begin the first paper, a Classification Paper due on October 6th. Note: journal entries are due by 4:00 on Friday this week.
American Short Story: We will continue with Unit One, “Literature of the 1920s and 1940s.” On Tuesday we will be reading and discussing:

The Word I—the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible: We will finish watching The Bible Stories: Genesis. Then we will Read the Unit Two feature, “Milton and the Bible—John Milton's Paradise Lost before turning to Unit Three: Genesis—Call and Promise:
